Phase I: FM-2004 entrance to three-way stop; the entrance to the park from FM 2004 is currently closed. Please use the park entrance off State Highway 6.

Phase II: Veterans Recreation Area to Highlands Recreation Area; Completed March 2016

Phase III: Highlands Recreation Area to the four-way stop at Jack Brooks Road (near the archery range/flying field intersection): Completed

Phase IV: Four-way stop at Jack Brooks Road (near the archery range/flying field intersection) to the bridge/diversionary canal: Completed
