Dwight Sullivan was elected to the position of Galveston County Clerk in 2010 and took office in 2011. Prior to his election, he served as the Assistant County Treasurer for Galveston County for over 9 years.

Dwight earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration as well as a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Dwight has had numerous positions on boards in the community such as a member of the UTMB Children’s Hospital Advisory Board, Galveston Kiwanis Board, Treasurer and Board member for the FBI Infragard – Houston Chapter, Houston Galveston Area Council Loan Development Committee Board, and a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. He is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in League City and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Dwight lives in League City with his wife Misty and their four children; Chloe, Alexis, Veronica and Andrew.
