Hurricane Season Notice

Attention Moses Lake Boat Operators: Don't wait to safe harbor your craft.

Hurricane Season starts June 1^st. Now is the time to make safe refuge for your boat. To ensure the safety of local citizens and businesses, the US Corps of Engineers will direct Moses Lake tide gate to close when tide reaches its lowest point before oncoming storm and remain closed until the storm passes.

Don’t wait until the last minute to safe harbor your boat!  Once closed, the gate will not reopen to let more boats into the lake. Arrive early and plan to remain till storm ends and tide falls.
