Recreation Specialist, Frankie Haynes

Screenshot_20230224_094353_Gallery Frankie Haynes is the Recreation Specialist at Dickinson Community Center. She is known for being kindhearted, adaptable, charismatic, and a great communicator. Frankie enjoys learning and is an advocate for the power of education. She prides herself on being reliable, dependable, helpful, and outgoing. Frankie has more than 10 years’ experience planning and organizing memorable experiences.

Activity Assistant, Sue Richardson

Sue Richardson started off as a volunteer with Galveston County before taking over the activity assistant role at Dickinson Community Center. She was born in Japan and came to the United States in 1977. She loves to read and travel between community centers teaching Origami to seniors.

Center Offerings

The Dickinson Community Center offers active seniors 55 and older the opportunity to take part in our recreation and wellness programs. Seniors 60+ are eligible to join our nutrition and transportation programs. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, temperature-controlled facility for fellowship and fun.

We have a wide variety of programs ranging from day trips, health & fitness classes, educational resources, arts and crafts, guest speakers, and special events such as carnivals, socials, car shows, and multi-center collaborations.
