Welcome to Bayside Community Center! We are an active senior center dedicated to enriching the lives of our aging community. If you are over the age of 55 (60+ for bus transportation and lunch) and an independent senior, we would love to invite you to be a part of everything we have to offer.

Recreation Specialist, Jo Ross 

Hi! My name is Jo Ross, the Recreation Specialist and I am so very happy to get to be a part of the Bayside Community Center.  I just love that I get a chance to put a smile on people’s faces and bring a little bit of joy and creativity to the Senior’s lives.  It is truly a blessing and I look forward to many more years with all of you!

Hello, my name is Lynn Morse and I am the new activity assistant   at Bayside community center. I am very excited to be here and I look forward to serving the community. It's a very fulfilling experience.

Center Offerings

Bayside Community Center provides a variety of activities Monday through Friday, including crafts, games, presentations, parties, exercise classes, and bingo. We also take special trips to museums, flea markets, shopping outlets, etc. Participating seniors will also have access to our private work-out room equipped with a treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike.

For those who are 60+, the center serves a variety of nutritionally balanced, already prepared meals daily. These meals are provided free of charge, through contributions are greatly appreciated. If you are unable to drive to the center, we can provide bus transportation to pick you up in the morning, and drop you back off in the afternoon. We also provide transportation during the week to places such as Walmart, Dollar Tree, the post office, etc.
