An Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect for a majority of Southeast Texas from 11 AM today to 8 PM Saturday, with heat indices expected to exceed 113 degrees F.  All heat safety precautions should be taken whether there is a Watch, an Advisory, or a Warning in place.  With this heat expected to persist into much of next week, additional watches and/or warnings are anticipated.
